Is weak Ad Hominem the best you’ve got? A stupid twat you say? How very thoughtful of you. Does that make you a progressive misogynist or just a simple one?

“Lance is a poster child for the 1% of America” and “Occupy”? Give me a break. Occupy’s cheap rhetoric is as narcissistic as Lance is. “The peddling of influence in our country has hit an all-time high”? Well, yes it is, because government power is at an all time high. Government has power and lobbyist try to buy it. Government is analogous to the pusher and the lobbyist is analogous to the addict in this hooked and high on power dynamic. It sounds like in your political world the addicts hungry for power are evil and the pushers selling to addicts are humble public servants in white hats. After all, “Who knows what fines would have been netted for the government coffers if assets were seized and frozen…?” Before further discussions on the problems of influence peddling, please give some serious consideration to cause and effect.

Your responses are text book emotional responses and really don't have anything to do with my assertions. I didn't discuss how he fought his cancer, or how he raced the one race a year he did. If anyone hasn't ridden or raced a bike, or been part of the professional cycling world, it is you. Thank you for your comments, but I'd suggest to take another read of the article, and respond my comments, rather than what you "think" you read.

What an idiotic article. Have you ever raced, or, at least, ridden a bike? Lance a poster child for the 1%? Sure, we all know he's a trust fund baby all right. He didn't achieved his full potential? How do you know, were you there doing hill reps with him? He only fought cancer halfheartedly? You sure know the ins and outs of his soul, man. Winning the Tour seven times is not enough for you? You must be an incredible overachiever. If he doped, he should be stripped of his titles, but that should be investigated by the UCI, historians, ad pretty much everyone who cares about those things and gives a sh***t, anybody but the US government. As for the case being dropped right before they were ready to show the smoking gun, yeah sure. That's all there is to it, the rest, like this article, is crap.
