Kiss_my_Panache, Satire is what people say when they are mean spirited and consider themselves artists. Incidentally you mention several times in your piece about logic and sadly your rant is less than sound in its own right. Further more if you were looking to persuade your readers on the subject your feckless rant probably pushed them right into Lance’s arms. Why you would make fun of someone in the industry who is trying to carve
out their own story in their own way is beyond me. You , Stratton,
Lance all want to make a difference in some way to better cycling (I think) so try a little less vitriol and more respect for all considered. Though you may differ in opinion on many things I think you can agree that you Stratton and Lance all love cycling and have made it the center pieces of your lives. –so start there and maybe the next time you try “satire” you will do a little more building and a little less tearing down.

i don’t agree with everything Stratton wrote but how can you not appreciate someone just pouring their heart out as opposed to being politically correct for the sake of not rufffling feathers. So while I am not totally on Stratton’s side I will say that your reaction is immature at best, and if you really looked into it you would know that whole idea of Ritte carbon frames was value for money over popular brands.

Great job on the inline response to their junk. Nothing says “I’ve got way more money than brains” than riding a Ritte. The joker at Ritte is reselling the usual imported carbon and Russ Denny customs at stupid-high prices. FYI, Russ Denny has been a premium contract builder for other brands for a long, long time. I can’t recommend him enough.

Awesome writing…..or written responses rather, just awesome. https://twitter.com/Kiss_my_Panache, you have the better side of the argument and those child like responses are the best you could come up with? It’s one thing to read the constant ignorant responses from Lance’s supporters, but this is just as bad. While Stratton may be misguided or in denial, he at the very least articulates his viewpoint. When all the evidence comes out and becomes more prevalent turning Lance believers into doubters, readers can come back to your fine work here and still see that it stinks worse than a chamois after a 4 hour ride!
